We are an industry-agnostic fund and make investments in early-stage businesses at the commercialisation stage across all innovative sectors, including but not limited to software, health, biotech, education, energy systems and others.
We are 100% focused on Western Australia and only invest in companies located in or with a close connection to the state.

We’re more than the sum of our capital
We partner with our portfolio companies and get to work on your success.
Regular meetings
As soon as we formalise our investment, we’re raring and ready to get to work with you. Together we agree on a regular cadence of meetings so that we have sufficient time to help you and your team with the most pressing challenges. We pride ourselves in our founder-friendly and inclusive approach.
Advice and introductions
You’ll have ready access to decades of varied business experience behind your decision-making in nearly every discipline, including leadership, finance, legal, governance, human capital, cyber and more. Not only will you get our brains, you’ll also gain access to our networks.
Fundraising
Perhaps what we know best! We are energised to get to work on preparing you and your company to raise your next round. From the point of investment think strategy sessions, pitch practice, pitch deck creation, venture capitalist introductions, and much more. All focused on the specific nuances of larger fundraising rounds.
Our team
Our team is our offering to founders. We aim to be ‘smart money’ and offer startups high-quality insights and knowledge based on decades of global experience. We believe that diversity of thinking is key to achieving audacious goals.

How we operate
Pitching and working with your investors should not look like an angry episode on reality TV.
Founder-friendly
For us, this means acting honestly, consistently, and responsively in all of our interactions with founders and their teams.
We structure ourselves and our everyday relationships with founders on one simple premise: We succeed when our founders succeed.
Diversity-minded
There is no such thing as a stereotypical founder. We believe that different experiences and diverse perspectives build solid foundations for great companies. Different traits, backgrounds, and abilities are what make us all unique, which is why we are committed to offering founders a safe and inclusive environment regardless of race, gender, age, ethnicity, religious belief or parental status.
Let’s start our journey together
If we think there’s an early fit, we’ll invite you to meet with a member of our team and guide you from there.
Frequently asked questions

We seek to initially invest in WA businesses at the early-stage, but once we’ve invested, you’re welcome to scale or move operations to geographies that you see as most opportune. This won’t affect follow-on funding opportunities either.

We typically invest $500,000, but we can vary between $200,000 and $1M depending on your stage and needs.
-
We truly believe that our team is our value proposition beyond capital. Our team collectively has a wide range of experience and expertise in many fields, including technology, law, finance, health and much more. Be sure to ask us what we can offer you.
-
Yes, we’re happy to lead or follow in your round.
-
We keep anything you share with us confidential. We won’t typically sign NDAs on the first meeting as it wastes time and money, and we have no interest in copying your business.
-
We source companies through our deep Western Australian connections. We then pass them through a rigorous process of assessment and due diligence. We analyse for key risks weighed against the upside opportunity and positive characteristics. The final decision is made by our Investment Committee.
-
We understand that many founders may have never pitched for capital before. This is no reason to shy away from us.
We try our best to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in which we ask our questions about your business. This doesn’t mean we won’t ask the ‘hard’ questions, but we do our best to create an environment where you can give the best answers.
